We are seeking for a【E-Payment Product Manager】based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The E-Payment Product Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and launch of innovative payment products. They need to have a deep understanding of payment systems, financial technology, and the trends of SEA market. Understanding digital solution on multiple industries is a plus. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams, defining product requirements, and collaborating with engineering, design, and sales teams to bring products to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conducting thorough SEA market research to identify trends, merchant needs, and competitive landscapes. Analyzing data to understand user behaviors and preferences related to e-payments, which inform product development and strategy.
  • Product Development and Roadmap: Leading the development of the e-payment product, including defining product features, functionality, and user interface. Creating a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of updates and new features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and risk management, to bring the product to market. Coordinating efforts and ensuring seamless integration of features and functionalities across all touchpoints of the payment experience.
  • User Experience and Engagement: Prioritizing user experience and ensuring a smooth, secure, and intuitive payment process. Monitoring user feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhancing the product to meet user needs and expectations.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensuring the electronic payment product adheres to all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards. Managing risk associated with payment transactions, including fraud prevention, security measures, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Qualifications

  • Applicants should have a strong background in e-payment field including merchant acquiring, POS(point of sale)solution, payment gateway, merchant digital services, etc.
  • Specific knowledge and experience of more than 3 years in related companies is preferred.
  • Leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating solutions that enhance the payment experience.
  • Prior experience in the payments industry or a related field is preferred.

Educational Requirements

  • Applicants must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • Higher degrees, such as a master's or PhD, may be preferred.

Language Requirements

  • Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English, as it is the international language of business and communication.
  • Chinese may be the language of communication at work.
