Legal Counsel-ABAC, Regulatory Compliance, Government Enforcement Defense

Responsibilities:
1.Handle (i) ABAC compliance matters; (ii) export control and sanctions; (iii) government enforcement defense matters, cross-borader commercial disputes, ; (iv) internal and external investigations
2.Advise the business regarding anti-corruption and anti-bribery (ABAC) and other regulatory compliance risks in various risk areas.
3.Identify and develop compliant, effective, and practical solutions for the business.
4.Draft and revise ABAC related policies.
5.Develop compliance training materials and deliver live training sessions.
6.Perform transactional due diligence relating to ABAC.
7.Oversee vendor due diligence relating to ABAC.
8.Collaborate with other Global Compliance Policies team members to handle (i) cross-border government enforcement defense and complex litigation matters; (ii) internal and external investigations.
9.Stay informed of changes in relevant regulations.
10.Respond to new and emerging compliance and regulatory risks, guidance, and trends.
Requirements:
1.Legal qualification in a common law jurisdiction.
2.At least 5 years of post-qualification litigation/investigations/regulatory compliance experience in an international law firm and/or multi-national company in-house legal department.
3.Knowledge in ABAC-related laws and regulations and experience handing ABAC-related investigations and providing compliance advice.
5.Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese.
6.Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with colleagues across non-legal disciplines.
7.Highly proactive and able to work independently under tight schedule.
