The Role:

Under Ant Group, working within our WorldFirst branded international payments business Line, you’ll help us transform and scale our new customer acquisition and revenue growth across Europe (excluding UK), one of WorldFirst’s largest and untapped markets. We need an experienced regional marketer, with a strong track record in marketing who comes from a regional marketing with a solid B2B background. Your focus will be on acquiring small to medium businesses located in Netherlands and Germany engaged in cross border trade who need digital international payment and financial services and also expanding our European footprint into other high growth European countries with significant cross-border business trade.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up the marketing strategy and tactics based on the target market and regional commercial strategy.
  • Initially also being hands on with a view to grow your own team as we scale our presence in there regions.
  • Strategise and coordinate regional marketing initiatives across target European markets, with a specific focus on field marketing activities.
  • Work in conjunction with the Global Marketing team to lead the localization of the regional marketing strategy, ensuring content localization is aligned with regional nuances and customer considerations.
  • Drive and grow customer acquisition, through online and offline channels leveraging both global marketing, in-house as well as third-party/agency resources.

Requirements:

  • 5 years+ in regional and strategic level marketing experience.
  • Fluent in Dutch.
  • Field and/or Events Marketing experience.
  • Have understanding and respect for different working cultures.
  • Ability to manage, optimize, and effectively deploy a marketing budget with proven track record of leading and influencing teams both locally and remotely.
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, adopt an entrepreneurial mentality, not afraid to test out new ideas and roll up your sleeves to get stuff done.
  • Ability to speak German is a plus.
