Who We Want
When you join the Arrive team, you’re saying yes to going above and beyond daily while also making friends and having fun in a competitive environment! Arrive Logistics is looking to hire experienced Carrier Sales Representatives to help establish and grow our reputation with trucking companies in Mexico. We’re looking for talented individuals with at least 1+ years of cross border carrier sales experience to join our team and hit the ground running.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the Mexico cross border load board is covered and at least 95% prebooked for the following day before clocking out for the day.
- Sourcing new and existing dedicated business opportunities.
- Making outbound phone calls to both Mexico and US based carriers.
- Learning how to use and operate Arrive resources including but not limited to Committed Capacity, 1 stop shop, Truck Entry, Carrier Search, and Load Board.
- Building a portfolio of at least 15 carriers and 7 cores.
- Contact at least 12 unique carriers every afternoon and post trucks projected on weekly capacity.
- Calling on new carriers daily in order to build a working relationship.
- Become an expert in Mexico capacity, markets, and rates.
- Prospecting and cold calling carriers through leads listed within our CRM, and generating your own leads through individual research.
- Building strong internal relationships with Arrive’s Business Development and Operations teams.
- Handle and solve freight issues that arise; missed pick-up, missed delivery, accessorial management, rejected product, etc.
- Tracking loads through picked up status to delivered status.
- Ensure service expectations are relayed to the carrier at the time of booking and only booking loads when the carrier agrees they can accommodate those expectations.
- Getting timely updates (15 minutes upon request) to carriers, customers and internally to coworkers.
- Ensuring all carrier information in ArriveNow is accurate for every load.
- Ensuring all loads are crossed before documents expire and ensure loads will cross the border in a timely manner and make on time delivery.
- Hold carriers accountable for Arrive’s service metrics including OTP, OTD, Autotrack and Late bounce.
Qualifications
- 1+ years Carrier Sales or Brokering experience
- Bilingual - Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish (High B2-C1)
- Personable, hard-working and not afraid to go above and beyond each and every day
- Resourcefulness, strong problem solving skills and a strong work ethic are essential
