Artera is looking for an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (ESDR) to join our fast-paced, growing sales organization. As an ESDR at Artera, you will be a member of the talented Sales Development Team.
ESDRs are responsible for identifying, developing, and engaging key stakeholders at top enterprise healthcare organizations. You will partner with Enterprise Account Executives to strategically create and convert sales opportunities.
This is an exciting role for someone with previous SDR and/or healthcare experience. You are a growth-minded professional, and you are eager to improve your skills, take on new challenges, and make an impact. You are passionate about sales and pursuing growth; there is a path for successful ESDRs to be promoted into closing roles.


  • Consistently generate new business opportunities to fuel our Enterprise Account Executives’ pipeline
  • Lead Generation through cold calling, building champions, and providing AE support until a opportunity hand-off can be made
  • Understand the enterprise healthcare industry (Top 1000 Largest National Health Systems) and Artera’s unique value within it
  • Strategic regional research and pre-call planning and post call follow-up
  • High volume of daily outreach via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
  • Collaborate with peers, AEs, and sales leadership to hone and develop outreach strategies


  • 1-2 years of SDR experience
  • 1+ years of CRM experience (ideally Salesforce)
  • Innate interest in start-ups, sales, and technology
  • Strong desire to grow personally and professionally in sales
  • Optimist and an insatiable desire to never stop learning
  • Team player that enjoys challenges


  • Previous experience working in healthcare (medical scribe, medical assistant, etc.)
  • Advanced degree in a healthcare related field (MHA, etc.)
This is a 100% in-office position. You will be required to work full-time out of our Downtown Santa Barbara, CA office.
Artera values in-person collaboration and is currently hiring in the following US cities: Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, Kansas City, and Philadelphia (Wayne).
Artera HQ is in Santa Barbara, CA, and we have an additional US office located in Philadelphia (Wayne), PA. If you live in the Santa Barbara or Philadelphia area, your role will be hybrid and you will be required to work out of your designated office location 3 days a week, unless otherwise noted in the job requirements.
If you live in Los Angeles, San Francisco/Bay Area, or Kansas City, your role will be remote to start. As our team continues to grow in these cities, Artera will be considering opening offices in these locations. Once that happens, you will be required to work out of your designated office location 3 days a week, unless otherwise noted in the job requirements.
