Responsibilities
About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist based in Singapore to manage our general service category. As an individual contributor, you will play a crucial role in driving regional procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment across APAC region. Responsibilities - Focus on managing the Workplace Services category, ensuring smooth business operation in relevant service domain. - Build category intelligence and insights by conducting deep-dive sourcing analysis and understanding the local market. - Partner with internal stakeholders to drive RFPs, select qualified suppliers to support business needs, and resolve purchasing issues. - Provide end-to-end procurement support, including the P2P process (PR-Contract-PO-Payment), contract negotiation, and execution. - Develop a robust, qualified vendor pool and conduct supplier performance management, including annual reviews and rate card renegotiations. - Drive procurement efficiency and implement best practices by creating contract frameworks, rate cards, and catalog management. - Establish a constructive and sustainable partnership with key business stakeholders and acquire an in-depth understanding of the business units supported.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above. - Business-level Japanese and English proficiency (written and verbal) is required to collaborate with stakeholders based in Japan. - Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail. - Fast learner with high adaptability to a fast-changing and matrix environment. - Strong logical and creative thinking skills, with the passion for challenging the status quo. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Execution mindset with flexibility and speed; Strong sense of responsibility and ownership with a collaborative mindset. - Ability to drive continuous improvement.
