We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Manager, Brand and Content Marketing to join our team. If you have a strong background in brand storytelling, content management, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you! A love for animals is a must for this position!

POSITION OVERVIEW

You will own our voice and content engine across all channels. Your job is to translate business goals into cohesive stories that drive donations, sales, and community growth. You will manage the entire content lifecycle—from insight-driven strategy through production oversight and performance analysis—while leading an in-house and contractor creative team. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build the annual and quarterly social/content strategy, defining channel positioning, content pillars, and campaign briefs
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with brand campaigns and goals
  • Help manage the content team (graphic designer, video editor, Social Media & Community Coordinator, influencer/UGC contractors)
  • Stay on top of emerging social tools and trends that can boost CUDDLY’s impact and visibility
  • Collaborate with design, video, and fundraising consultants to produce visual and multimedia content
  • Develop, negotiate, and track influencer and creator partnerships; own UGC pipeline
  • Travel in the DFW area (≈2× per month) to capture and oversee rescue stories and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Safeguard brand guidelines and tone, ensuring every touch-point gives hope and inspires action

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

  • 5+ years leading multi-platform social/content for consumer or mission-driven brands, with at least two years owning strategy and people or contractor management
  • A strong portfolio showcasing engaging social content, video creation, and campaign execution.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Exceptional writing skills, with a knack for crafting compelling, on-brand copy for captions and social storytelling.
  • Strong knowledge of social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Laterl, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
