Director of Training
We are looking for a strategic and visionary Director of Training to lead GrowthZone’s learning and enablement programs. This role will shape and scale our customer and employee education initiatives to drive product adoption, customer success, and organizational excellence. As the head of our training function, you’ll ensure every learning experience empowers customers and employees to achieve their best.

A typical day involves leading a talented team of training professionals, instructional designers, and technical writers to design, deliver, and optimize high-quality learning programs. You’ll collaborate with leaders across Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align learning objectives with company goals—using data, technology, and innovation to continually improve how we educate and inspire.

After one year, you’ll know you were successful if:
  • You’ve launched and refined a comprehensive training and enablement strategy aligned with company OKRs.
  • Customer and employee satisfaction with training exceeds 95%.
  • Learning programs directly contribute to increased product adoption and retention.
  • At least three new enterprise-level training initiatives are implemented that showcase measurable business impact.

What You’ll Bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or learning & development, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success building and scaling customer or employee training programs in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with a data-driven approach to program improvement.
  • Executive communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience developing certification or partner enablement programs.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and modern e-learning technologies.
  • A track record of innovation in digital learning or large-scale onboarding.
This is a remote position with approximately 25% travel required.

Salary and Benefits
At GrowthZone, we are committed to offering competitive compensation aligned with employee qualifications. The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000, determined based on individual experience, skills, and internal parity.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package for our full-time team members, including medical, dental, and vision plans with company contributions to HSAs/FSAs, company-paid life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Employees also benefit from bi-weekly payroll, Responsible Time Off (RTO), 13 paid holidays, and 10 days of Sick and Safe Time annually. Our core business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CT, with managers able to approve flexible or compressed schedules to support work-life balance.
