Rate of Pay: $175,101.16/per year

Duties: Define common infrastructure, automate & streamline processes to increase developer velocity to deploy & operate our system; Collaborate with engineering teams on compliance & security-related efforts; Create & contribute to common tooling to increase developer productivity.

Telecommuting available up to full-time. This job is remote and may be performed in any of the following 28 states or districts: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI. Employee may reside in any of these 28 states or districts.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer

Position requires 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer applying DevOps practices using Agile methods & defining/building common, reusable practices across multiple teams (logging, CI/CD, alerting/monitoring & security.

Experience must include at least 5 years with each of the following:

  1. Cloud-based environments (AWS)
  2. Continuous integration and deployment tools (Github Actions or CircleCI)

Experience must include at least 3 years with each of the following:

  1. Containers and orchestration tools (Docker, or Kubernetes & Helm)
  2. Code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)

All of the required experience may have been gained concurrently.
