LaunchDarkly is seeking a Director, Global Sales Development to join our Revenue team. LaunchDarkly has hit incredible milestones off of a primarily inbound sales culture. This leader has the opportunity to join a GTM team to build an SDR org that will continue the inbound success while creating the outbound culture necessary to scale the business to an IPO and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Development: Coach front-line leaders and reps on best practices for outbound and inbound pipeline generation/qualification
- Systems: Evaluate and implement tooling to improve productivity of SDR organization
- Culture: Drive positive competition in org through gamification, rewards, and recognition
- Recruiting: Identify, source, and close talented leaders and reps
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with RevOps, marketing, and sales to drive alignment for quality pipeline generation
- Build multi-channel engine: Develop scalable approach for pipeline generation incorporating email, cold calls, social, video, and events
- Build talent pipeline: Work with enablement to implement an “AE Readiness” program to prepare the next generation of Account Executives
Qualifications: (Required)
- 2+ years of Experience leading SDR teams as a second-line SDR leader
- 3+ Experience with lead scoring/routing for commercial and enterprise segments
- Experience leading globally distributed teams
- Experience selling into technical functions (developers, DevOps, IT, etc.)
- Experience with inbound and outbound pipeline generation
- Proven ability to recruit, retain, and develop talent
- Desire to build new programs - not a role for someone that wants to only oversee/delegate recruiting, enablement, and other key processes
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Some travel required, depending on current location
- Must be authorized to work in US (no visa sponsorship / relocation)
Pay:
Target pay range for a Level M5 in Boston, MA: $213k- $250k On Target Earnings (OTE) includes base pay and commission*
*Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
