Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Expenses Coordinator at Lean Solutions Group in Guatemala. The Expense Coordinator will be responsible for reconciling expense items, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong backgrounding accounting or finance, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile expense items to ensure accuracy and proper coding for processing.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and information
  • Conduct regular audits of expense items to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor expense reports to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in company policies and financial regulations
  • Analyze expense data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on expense activities to management.
  • Evaluate current expense management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Qualifications

  • English B2 High - C1
  • Proven experience as an Expense Coordinator, Financial Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Preferred experience with Workday.
