Role Description:
HR Service Center Specialist plays a critical role in managing and supporting various HR functions through effective communication and utilization of HR systems for all affiliated employees. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, managing HR help tickets, assisting with employee and manager self-service transactions, processing new hires, information and supporting managing vital and extremely sensitive data. The HRS will work closely with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely HR data processing and support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inbound and Outbound Call Management:
- Handle inbound calls by identifying caller needs and creating HR Help tickets through the UKG case management system.
- Make outbound calls as necessary to complete transactions or gather additional information.
2. Employee and Manager Self-Service Support:
- Assist employees and managers with Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) transactions, providing guidance and troubleshooting as needed.
3. Organizational Changes and Transactions:
- Complete organizational changes, payroll updates, and job data transactions using the UKG system.
- Process new hires, including managing documentation and ensuring all required documents are uploaded.
4. Email and Mail Management:
- Manage and respond to emails received via the MyNFI email account in a timely manner.
- Classify, organize, and create HR help tickets for physical mail received and uploaded into the system.
5. Support for Large-Scale Projects:
- Assist the HR team with large-scale projects that involve UKG HR data processing, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of data.
6. Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish and track metrics for the LSG team, connecting data to reporting systems to include the entire Service Center team.
7. Status Change Processing:
- Process daily status change files from Alight, requires manual updates to status history in UKG.
8. Accrual Updates:
- Perform accrual updates in UKG for employees returning from Leave of Absence (LOA), ensuring accurate leave balance management.
- Accrual updates in UKG for EES returning from LOA
9. Benefit Processing:
- Assisting with the processing of benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long term disability, and 401(k) plan. Provide day to day employee benefits support for all health and welfare plans including enrollments, changes, and separations
Required Skills:
- Proven 360 background check (completed)
- Great communication skills
- Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an HR or customer service role, with familiarity in using HR systems such as UKG.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
