Job summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will perform all functions related to the shipment of international orders, including preparing documentation packages for international shipments and ensuring shipments are correctly processed. The International Operations Coordinator will be responsible for performing other warehouse tasks and maintaining updates for all said bookings and communications to our offices.

Responsibilities:

Its functions are the following; however, they are not limited to:

  • Monitor Outlook email throughout the day to identify Pre-Alert messages.
  • Upload information, documents, and messages related to shipments onto the system.
  • Request missing documents from clients or parties involved to complete information as needed.
  • Verify completion of Internal Orders in the system.
  • Follow up on old shipments stored in the system, prioritizing from oldest to newest.
  • Conduct Track & Trace process for every shipment to verify information such as ETA and delivery location.
  • Validate account status or initiate account set-up, including that Power of Attorney (POA) are on file.
  • Utilize import systems to gather, validate, and transfer data between systems, facilitating shipment payments when required.
  • Review transportation files to ensure compliance, such as verifying ISF filing for ocean shipments.
  • Notify and seek authorization from the branch supervisor to pay fees for maritime services like customs clearance.
  • Close service legs for completed processes, ensuring all relevant services are accounted for and closed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, OR customer service roles preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
