Position Title: Mid+ to Senior Hybrid Quality Engineer
Location: Hybrid - Medellin
What you will be doing:
The QA Engineer will lead technical quality efforts with a focus on automation and supporting manual testing. You will design and execute robust test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and JMeter while leveraging expert-level SQL and network tools for deep troubleshooting. As a proactive member of the Agile team, you will be responsible for defining test strategies, documenting defects, and providing clear results to ensure high-quality releases across mobile and web platforms.
- Planning and executing automation (80%) and manual testing (20%).
- Understanding of SQL queries and network troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of Android testing tools, such as ADB, DDMS, and UI Automator Viewer
- Creating test scripts and/or test cases for the product/service to be released
- Executing test cases and test scripts on time and providing a clear summary of test results.
- Documenting defects clearly and following up until closure as per Sprint priorities.
- Actively participate in Sprint planning meetings, product grooming, and relevant team meetings
- Planning test schedules or strategies under the project scope and delivery dates
- Applying analytical skills to participate in troubleshooting issues with cross-platform teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- +4 years of experience with integrated testing tools and frameworks - Jira, Selenium, Appium, etc.
- +4 years of experience in Mobile app testing
- Extensive experience in Automation using any framework (Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Apache JMeter, API automation)
- Expertise in SQL queries, simple and complex having knowledge of Joins and database testing.
- Expertise in performance testing tools like JMeter, Load Runner, and API testing tool Postman.
- Have a genuine interest in software testing.
