The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst is a highly visible role within the largest business line at LinkedIn – Talent Solutions (LTS). The role is part of a team that builds and maintains the operational foundation that enables the LTS sales organization to run effectively and efficiently. This role will involve partnering with senior sales executives to assess business performance and derive actionable insights focused on delivering revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer value. The Analyst will also have the opportunity to lead, execute, and scale operational and planning processes in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
This position offers a candidate with data analytics, Sales/ Business operations, consulting or SaaS experience an exciting opportunity to influence the trajectory of the largest part of LinkedIn’s business, interact with senior sales professionals, and lead projects with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Drive analytical and operational needs to assess and review business performance (e.g., rep productivity, forecasting, QBRs etc. )
- Support our global strategic planning process by leading planning workstreams in areas such as customer segmentation, headcount, financial planning, go-to-market strategy, territory planning, book building, or quota setting
- Lead operational processes of the sales organization, such as: quota management, territory allocation, audits, reports and dashboard development, data checks & maintenance
- Lead and provide recommendations on a variety of strategic, cross-functional projects that will shape LinkedIn’s go-to-market motion. Present insights / recommendations to executives and sales operations partners
- Gather requirements and project manage changes to our processes that result in improvements in sales rep productivity
- Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Sales Operations teams and cross functional partners (business operations, sales leadership, HR, finance and systems teams) to achieve objectives
- Partner with sales managers on operational and strategic requests.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Data analytics sales strategy & operations, business operations, management consulting or finance roles
- 2+ years of experience working with large sets of data & tools including Excel & SQL
- Advanced knowledge of Excel & SQL- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
- Process Improvement experience & mindset
- Experience in working with Tableau, SQL and/or Presto, Anaplan
- Ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision making
- Excellent communication, project and time management, writing and presentation skills with the ability to confidently interact with senior management
- Has an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality (The role is a good mix of strategy & operations)
