Role Description:
The Field Service Coordinator is an important role within LVT’s Field Operations team and is responsible for performing a wide range of activities, including but not limited to organizing and completing partner and client-facing projects. The role blends project leadership skills along with hands-on “doer” activities to ensure assigned projects are executed effectively and efficiently, resulting in highly satisfied customers.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the process of identifying, vetting, evaluating, interviewing and onboarding new Service Delivery Partner (SDP) candidates, in partnership with Service Partner leadership
- Identify qualified non-service SDP resources (technicians not affiliated with LVT’s formal Service Delivery Partners) to complete work in areas where we don’t have SDP coverage; coordinate their training, onboarding, and engagement with LVT.
- Assist with all aspects of onboarding new service delivery partner, including system set-up (ServiceNow, Tovuti, others), information collection, coordinating participation in training, coordinating onboarding with other internal groups (dispatch, support, accounts payable)
- Manage LVT’s technician territory map program, initial map set-up, coordinate updates with and train Dispatch team;
- Evaluate and build specialty technician networks/relationships in support of occasional projects, as needed (examples include Paducah/Opelika network, Colorado network, small engine repair technicians, electricians etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business and relationship management for assigned technicians (Non-SPD, Specialty Networks)
- Provide training and updates to anyone at LVT that is responsible for scheduling work orders, thereby ensuring the correct technician is assigned applicable work orders.
- Assume a leadership role in ensuring LVT’s instance of the ServiceNow platform is optimized to support all interactions with service delivery partners, ensuring smooth and accurate flow of work orders from creation to completion, building business logic and automation and associated reporting
- Work closely with IT in building out/automating the process of assigning technicians within ServiceNow
- Oversee, track, and coordinate technician training for assigned technicians. This includes initial training and applicable ongoing training
- Organize and conduct work order audits to ensure LVT provides consistent details and instructions to field service technicians assigned to do work for LVT
- Assist with partner inventory audits
- Provide performance management feedback to assigned partners
- Serve as a point of escalation to manage responsiveness and timely completion of work assigned to non-SDP partners
- Coordinate with service delivery partner leadership to implement change and drive results
- Assist with implementing partner safety programs
- Manage all budgetary activities, including invoice approvals associated with assigned technicians
- Assist Service Partner team in coordinating and managing project plans across the Field Operations team, enter projects in Smartsheet and assist the team in driving tasks and timelines to ensure timely completion of applicable projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external resources responsible for LVT service delivery
- Project management skills
- Contribute to improving related and dependent processes, including technical support troubleshooting and diagnostics, work order management, and ticket routing to appropriate SDPs, based on established criteria (geography, skills, sales source, etc.), and lead performance improvement initiatives with SDPs
- Partner with Field Service Manager to monitor internal LVT processes to ensure effective engagement with SDPs
- Collaborate with LVT Learning, Enablement, Documentation team to develop and updated ongoing training program, in coordination with Field Operations, Product, LVT University to ensure SDPs are fully informed on new products, technology, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc.
- Ability to identify and execute on priorities associated with building, developing, expanding LVT’s 3rd-party relationships with external service delivery (Field Service) partners
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage small and medium projects
- Customer success management, account management, sales experience are all helpful qualifications
- Experience in developing relationships with and managing 3rd party partners, especially in Field Service or technical services
- Highly customer-centric, with experience leading and influencing teams to provide excellent service to customers
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement using objective criteria, metrics, and appropriate incentive programs
- Individual should be able to interact and develop relationships with LVT sales, internal Field Service, customers, and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
