ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Senior IT Project Manager at LVT, you will be the primary architect of execution for our most critical enterprise initiatives. This is a high-impact individual contributor role designed for a strategic thinker who excels at bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and core business objectives. You will own the full project lifecycle—from initial discovery to final deployment—ensuring our internal systems and infrastructure scale alongside our rapid global growth. You aren’t just managing tasks; you are driving the operational excellence that allows LVT to innovate at speed.

This role is based in-office out of our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning & Delivery: Define and manage IT project scope, schedules, and resources using Agile or Waterfall methodologies to meet stakeholder goals.

  • Strategic Execution: Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate high-level discussions to drive decisions, delegate tasks, and ensure seamless progress.

  • Reporting & Metrics: Maintain comprehensive documentation and track key metrics to communicate project status, risks, and results to stakeholders.

  • Risk & Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks and scope gaps, establishing clear escalation protocols and effective mitigation strategies.

  • Process Excellence: Apply deep knowledge of change management, release management best practices, and sophisticated process mapping.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate transparent communication and negotiation across all levels and vendors to ensure project alignment and action-oriented outcomes.

  • Technical & Business Acumen: Analyze complex business processes (including value stream mapping) to translate needs into technical specifications and assess system feasibility.

  • Integration Management: Bridge the gap between IT and business units—such as Manufacturing and Procurement—to manage complex system integrations.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, with a proven track record of identifying business needs and implementing complex technical solutions.

  • Direct experience managing a full end-to-end ERP or core system implementation is highly preferred (though not a non-starter for an otherwise exceptional technical project manager).

  • Strong technical acumen regarding the software development lifecycle (SDLC), system integrations, and enterprise architecture.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Deep proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and a strong grasp of ITSM methodologies and business analysis tools.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform value stream mapping and identify process improvements.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively with diverse business units and external vendors to drive project outcomes.

  • Expert communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical specifications and next steps to stakeholders at all levels.

  • PMP certification or equivalent professional project management credential preferred.

BENEFITS

We believe you do your best work when your whole life is supported. We invest in our crew’s health, families, and financial futures with a benefits package designed to support you inside and outside the office.
