Role Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Optimization Specialist to join our team. The Optimization Specialist will play a critical role in the proper calibration of LVT units through consistent observation of unit statuses and the initial setup of new accounts. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure the efficient and accurate arrangement of new and over alerting units.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe client units and analyze incoming alerts to identify any potential issues or abnormalities.
  • Diagnose units that are not sending alerts or are not within optimal alert range, utilizing your technical expertise.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues by adjusting configurations, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to escalate and resolve complex issues that require specialized attention.
  • Document observations, findings, and solutions accurately and thoroughly for reference and future analysis.
  • Regularly communicate and provide updates to stakeholders regarding the status and progress of ongoing optimization activities.
  • Continuously analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify patterns or trends that may indicate system performance issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of optimization initiatives.
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus.
  • Experience with security and surveillance software and tools is a plus.
