Role Description

The platform we offer our customers is made up of both internally-developed and off-the-shelf hardware, fused together with internally-developed software. Our customers rely on us to ensure that this combination of hardware and software is configured correctly.

As a Configuration Technician, you will perform various documented procedures to configure each of these devices. These devices require work within various interfaces to configure & document unit details. It will be your responsibility to define values of parameters within components to set up access to our software. That will include the install and configuration of various software applications according to customer specifications.


  • Configure electronic components such as:
    • Cameras
    • Speakers
    • Modems
  • Adjust/change host files, domain names, & other addresses
  • Input information into ERP system
  • Keep up & ahead of production schedule
  • Kit LiveUnit components on rolling carts

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience configuring:
    • Hosts files
    • Domain names
    • TCP/IP/DHCP address resolution and scopes

For example, the setup, install, configuring, and maintenance of various network equipment. Even with your experience you must feel comfortable learning how to use new technologies and new devices. Each device will follow detailed work instructions and test procedures.

  • You must have an understanding of basic computer networking knowledge. As well as being able to use Microsoft Windows, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, and other computer software with minimal assistance. On top of that, you will be required to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshooting experience using a multimeter is preferred. Because our systems are built with multiple components you will occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
