Red Ventures is seeking a Director of Partnerships to help scale our business. This role will encompass strong team leadership, prospecting and relationship building skills.

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our San Juan, Puerto Rico office (Monday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Fridays each week. Some amount of travel up to 15% - 20% of the time may be required.

What You’ll Do:

  • As one of the senior leaders of the partnership team, this role is responsible for developing the sales team, setting the go to market strategy and planning for the business to expand existing partnerships and generate new relationships.
  • Manage a high-performing team including Business Development Representatives and Account Executives. Responsible for hiring, training, retaining and developing best of class sales talent. Ability to bring out the best in sales professionals in a performance-oriented environment.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships Vice President and Revenue Operations team to set and optimize partner budgets, identify marketplace gaps to set partnership strategy, manage product mix and develop creative sales strategies.
  • Prospect and initiate new relationships with online higher education university partners (primarily not-for-profit) to join our platform.
  • Develop relationships and interact with the executive management teams of higher education online institutions.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and stay up-to-date on critical online higher education trends, changing dynamics, timely news, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Negotiate all elements of new or existing partner deals to showcase the value of our products and configure mutually beneficial value propositions.
  • Craft strategic growth opportunities for new and existing partnerships; function as a thought leader pushing the evolution of the business’ value drivers.
  • Work alongside senior leadership and teammates to create ideal digital customer experiences that maximize revenue.
  • Be a key part of our RV Education leadership team, helping to shape the direction of our business.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Track record of professional success and proven sales and account management achievements.
  • 8+ years of business experience in a business development type position including experience managing high performing teams.
  • Extensive experience and network within higher education (preferred).
  • Passion for building, motivating and leading teams to high performance
  • Analytical mind with the desire to both set the strategy and execute through to implementation with a hands-on approach.
  • Data-focused and analytically-minded with Advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred.
  • Persuasive communicator that can gain internal and external buy-in and followership for new ideas and opportunities at a senior level.
  • A high-level understanding of various digital marketing channels.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced and often changing environment.

Compensation

  • Compensation Range: $110,000.00 - $170,000.00*
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
