The Senior Account Executive Enablement Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and productivity of our sales team, particularly focused on the Account Executive (AE) role. This position combines deep understanding of our products/services, market dynamics, and sales processes with excellent coaching, training, and enablement skills to ensure that our AEs are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to excel in their roles. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with sales leadership, product management, product marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive enablement programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Enablement Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to define sales enablement objectives, priorities, and strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.
  • Content Development and Management:
    • Develop and maintain a library of sales enablement resources, including sales collateral, playbooks, battle cards, and training materials.
    • Work closely with subject matter experts to create and update content that addresses the needs of AEs throughout the sales cycle.
  • Training and Onboarding:
    • Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new AEs, ensuring they have a deep understanding of our products/services, target market, buyer personas, and sales processes.
    • Develop and facilitate ongoing training sessions, workshops, and certifications to enhance AEs' knowledge, sales skills, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
  • Coaching and Mentorship:
    • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to AEs to improve their sales effectiveness, deal strategy, and overall performance.
    • Conduct regular ride-alongs, pipeline reviews, and role-playing exercises to assess AEs' capabilities and provide constructive feedback.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
    • Collaborate with sales operations to optimize sales processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and develop initiatives to streamline sales operations and enhance the AE experience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with product management, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales enablement initiatives and overall go-to-market strategy.
    • Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive alignment on key initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or sales leadership roles, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful sales enablement programs and initiatives.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and technologies.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
