About the role:
Tempo is seeking a Director of Revenue Operations (Field & Planning) to drive operational excellence across our go-to-market organization. You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to design coverage models, streamline forecasting, optimize compensation, and accelerate revenue predictability. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that translates strategy into scalable systems, data, and process discipline.
You’ll serve as the connective tissue between planning and execution — ensuring the field runs with speed, accuracy, and accountability.
Why this role matters: Tempo’s growth depends on operational clarity — knowing where revenue is, where it’s going, and how to get there faster. This role ensures our GTM engine runs predictably, efficiently, and in alignment with our financial model.
What you’ll do:
Revenue Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual and quarterly GTM planning, segmentation, and capacity modeling in partnership with Finance.
Sales Process & Governance: Own pipeline hygiene, forecasting cadence, and operating rhythm across sales and CS.
Incentive Design: Partner with Finance and HR to build equitable, performance-driven compensation plans and SPIFFs.
Territory & Quota Management: Design, allocate, and monitor coverage models for balanced capacity and opportunity.
Deal Desk Leadership: Define guardrails for pricing, discounting, and approvals to accelerate deal velocity and margin.
Cross-functional Enablement: Collaborate with Marketing Ops, Systems, and Data teams to align funnel definitions and dashboards.
Operational Cadence: Run QBRs, forecast calls, and executive reporting to ensure consistency and insight.
Continuous Improvement: Identify friction in GTM motions and implement scalable solutions using automation and process redesign.
Who you are:
8–10+ years in Sales/Revenue Operations, FP&A, or GTM Strategy in a SaaS or subscription business.
Proven success leading planning and forecasting at the $100M+ ARR scale.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce, reporting, and operational process design.
Experience managing comp plans, territories, and pipeline analytics.
Strong executive presence and ability to partner with CRO, CFO, and functional leaders.
Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to translate data into decisions.
Why Join Tempo?
Impact: Work on meaningful products that empower enterprise users and improve productivity.
Innovation: Be part of a culture that values creativity and innovation, with opportunities to make a real impact.
Collaboration: Join a supportive, collaborative UX team that values openness, communication, and a continuous learning environment.
Growth: Opportunities for professional development, including conferences, courses, and mentorship.
