About the role:

As the Sr. Community & Influencer Manager, you will be the voice and face of Tempo across our ecosystem of partners, customers, and industry thought leaders. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, your primary focus will be driving Tempo's webinar program in partnership with our Systems Integrators and Channel Partners, as well as securing high-visibility placements for Tempo executives on leading industry podcasts and video shows. Beyond these core priorities, you will own our community engagement strategy, build relationships with key influencers and media partners, and amplify Tempo's presence across digital channels and events.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that blends partner marketing, executive communications, community management, public relations, and business development. You'll be instrumental in shaping how the market perceives Tempo and driving awareness among enterprise decision-makers. What you’ll do:

Webinar Program Management (30%)

  • Own end-to-end management of Tempo's bi-weekly webinar program, collaborating closely with Partner Marketing to feature Systems Integrators (SIs) and Channel Partners

  • Develop and maintain the webinar calendar, coordinating schedules with partners and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent programming

  • Drive webinar strategy including topic selection, speaker recruitment, content development, and audience targeting

  • Host and moderate webinars with confidence and polish, ensuring an engaging experience for attendees

  • Manage all webinar logistics including platform setup, rehearsals, promotion, and day-of execution

  • Analyze webinar performance metrics (registrations, attendance, engagement, pipeline influence) and continuously optimize the program

  • Repurpose webinar content into blog posts, social clips, and other assets to extend reach and value

Executive Thought Leadership & Podcast Placements (30%)

  • Develop and execute a strategic program to secure Tempo executive placements on high-profile industry podcasts, video casts, and live streams

  • Research and build a target list of relevant podcasts, YouTube channels, LinkedIn Live shows, and other audio/video platforms in the Atlassian ecosystem, project management, enterprise software, and business leadership spaces

  • Cultivate relationships with podcast hosts, producers, and content creators to create ongoing placement opportunities

  • Craft compelling pitches and talking points tailored to each show's audience and format

  • Prepare executives for appearances with briefing documents, key messages, and media coaching as needed

  • Coordinate all logistics for podcast and video appearances including scheduling, technical requirements, and follow-up

  • Track and report on placement success, audience reach, and resulting brand awareness or lead generation

  • Amplify executive appearances through social media, email, and other marketing channels to maximize impact

  • Identify opportunities for Tempo to sponsor, co-host, or launch its own podcast or video series

Community Management & Engagement (15%)

  • Own and actively manage Tempo's presence on the Community.Atlassian forum, responding to inquiries, fostering discussions, and positioning Tempo as a trusted thought leader

  • Build and manage our Reddit strategy, engaging authentically with relevant subreddits to drive awareness and support community conversations

  • Monitor community sentiment and feedback, translating insights into actionable recommendations for product and marketing teams

  • Develop and execute community programs that drive user engagement, advocacy, and loyalty

PR & Influencer Relations (15%)

  • Oversee public relations strategy and execution, building relationships with key industry journalists, analysts, and media outlets

  • Identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with influencers in the Atlassian ecosystem, project management, and enterprise software space

  • Develop and pitch compelling story angles that showcase Tempo's innovation and market leadership

  • Track and report on PR and influencer campaign performance with clear KPIs and ROI metrics

Events & Media Business Development (10%)

  • Represent Tempo at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings as a brand ambassador

  • Proactively identify and pursue media opportunities including sponsorships, speaking engagements, contributed content, and strategic partnerships

  • Negotiate media partnerships and influencer agreements that align with budget and brand guidelines

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and identify emerging platforms or channels for Tempo's voice

  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future

Who you are:

  • 6+ years of experience in community management, influencer marketing, PR, webinar/event management, or a related field within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology

  • Proven experience managing webinar programs at scale, including end-to-end ownership from planning through execution and analysis

  • Track record of successfully securing executive placements on podcasts, video shows, or other earned media opportunities

  • Confident and polished on-camera presence; comfortable hosting webinars, appearing on podcasts, and speaking at events

  • Experience working with channel partners, systems integrators, or alliance teams to co-create content and programs

  • Proven track record of building and scaling online communities and driving measurable engagement

  • Experience managing influencer and media relationships with demonstrated ability to secure placements and partnerships

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an authentic, engaging voice

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with executives, partners, and community members alike

  • Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem, project management tools, or enterprise productivity software is a strong plus

  • Self-starter mentality with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Data-driven approach to measuring success and optimizing programs

  • Willingness to travel to events and partner locations as needed
