Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Associate Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for our US operations. This role involves managing a team of 12 to 15 payroll professionals, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the complete payroll cycle, including data collection, validation, processing, and reporting.

Lead a team of 12 to 15 payroll professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

Ensure compliance with US federal and state payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.

Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.

Prepare and review payroll reports for audits, management, and regulatory compliance.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.

Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in US payroll processing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ULTI PRO is a plus).

Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and tax laws.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

FPC certification is a plus.

Other Skills

Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
