The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to work in an agile environment on our Conversations product which offers a continuous performance development solution with a full spectrum of feedback, check-ins, priorities and reflections to develop the talent of any team. The Conversations product enables managers and employees to have better, more meaningful, continuous conversations facilitating an employee’s learning, development and performance growth as well as improve the manager-employee relationship.
Mission of the squad you will be joining is to drive engagement and foster a culture of feedback within organisations, ultimately contributing to improved business outcomes for our users and clients.

Tech stack: AWS, Java 17, Spring, Oracle, Postgres, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, GitLab, Terraform, Docker/Containerization, Apache Camel, Enterprise Integration Patterns

The value you will deliver:
You will work with a distributed development team continuously delivering solutions to maximise user and customer value.
You will partner with our Product and Engineering Leadership to take ideas from design, implementation and through to delivery to production.
You will work with our DevOps and Architecture teams to move to a continuous deployment model.
You will turn ideas into reliable code that others will find easy to comprehend and modify.
You will contribute to an atmosphere of psychological safety and trust within the team and across the organization.
You will be curious, inquisitive and strive for excellence in the work you do, always putting quality first
The skills you will bring:
You have 3+ years working in enterprise application development with Java and Spring
You have experience with building and deploying applications in AWS, and making use of some Cloud-native capabilities
You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD best practices
You develop in accordance with software engineering best practices and quality standards.
You have an agile mindset, valuing collaboration, continuous improvement, adaptability and flexibility.
You have good Database modelling experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
You are autonomous, driven and a fast learner.
You are a strong communicator and collaborator.
