Job Description:

We’re seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious, detailed oriented and data-driven leader to join us in building out a new Strategic Planning function, responsible for managing projects and executive rhythms within of the Office of the CEO, building out perspective on new long-term growth drivers, while also continuing to optimize efficiencies and opportunities within our core business.


In this new role as Director, you’ll help shape the direction of this new function, sitting at the intersection of the Office of the CEO, business analytics and corporate planning. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Analytics, you’ll partner with a variety of executive-level stakeholders across the organization, learn the ins-and-outs of our complex SaaS model and global platform, and build optimization into our executive reporting, planning and team rhythms. **Please note - this is a hybrid role, requiring presence onsite in our Framingham, MA office at least two times per week.**


Responsibilities:

  • Lead optimization of Executive team annual and quarterly planning rhythms in partnership with Finance, HX and senior leadership

  • Oversee monitoring of Office of the CEO projects & ongoing transformation initiatives, including measuring progress against Company level goals, and working alongside executive team to ensure timely updates are coming back to CEO related to our top Strategic Initiatives

  • Maintain Executive weekly update cadence and create weekly CEO business health update

  • Lead preparation & coordination across executive team for weekly SELT meetings, monthly ELT meetings and quarterly Executive offsites to drive effective updates and decision making • Tackle critical strategic questions in partnership with Business Analytics team, assembling the people & reports necessary to develop preliminary answers and subsequent recommendations • Monitor business health trends; surface actionable insights & call sessions to discuss as needed • Create new key reports on business progress for use at SELT and ELT meeting, such as quarterly business reviews, strategic planning sessions, offsite workshops etc.

  • Partner with VP of Strategic Planning on evolving business operating model across executive team, engaging with Senior Leaders to define and launch change initiatives as relevant • Develop, track, and implement optimization projects that enhance Company objectives

  • Liaison to Business Analytics function and Business stakeholders for continued prioritization of analytical needs based on Board, SELT, Planning and New Business development requirements

  • Help build new business development capability set, including building business cases for new investment candidates and initial scoping of work, in partnership with SELT/Business SME • Support the Office of the CEO and SELT in complex, ambiguous business decisions through rigorous, insightful analysis, research and updates across Executive team

Desired skills and experience:

  • 12+ years previous experience in management consulting, business development, corporate strategy or a strategic field.

  • Forward-thinking mentality with a strong strategic mindset, balancing the needs of long-term goals vs. short-term value creation.

  • Strong business intuition with a bias towards action

  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Highly effective organizational and operational program management skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Superior problem-solving skills, comfortable with navigating ambiguity with limited information and ability to make tradeoff decisions

  • Track record of achieving business growth through transformation and with lean resources

  • A desire to do both strategic planning and daily execution

  • Passion for identifying new opportunities and experience in selling one’s ideas

  • Demonstrated ability to build business cases, driving timely and smart decisions, and building consensus in tradeoff and investment planning

  • Ability to thrive in a high growth, entrepreneurial and global environment where the ability to juggle multiple priorities and breakdown complex initiatives into actionable projects is a must

  • An ability to hit the ground running and learn quickly; a confident self-starter
