ERP Engineer (12 month fixed term contract)
This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Dublin office at least two times per week.
You will provide in-depth application support, configuration and development for one of our key business applications.
You will be responsible for delivery of identified and agreed projects and functionality. Working with the Global Business Systems team and functions, you will leverage functionality within our applications and associated technologies, to support Global Operations in providing best-in class service. You will be responsible for planning, designing and developing new functionality. Coming from a strong development/engineering background, you will be expected to have broad and deep technical skills and experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions.

An opportunity to actively support all phases of a project - from solution design, prototyping, development and testing to rollout in association with the Principal Application Engineer, to meet identified requirements and business needs.
Collaboration with our stakeholders across Operations and potentially other functions to understand requirements.
Work with consultants and the GBSG Application Engineering and Specialist resources to further develop our solution design and technical knowledge base.
An opportunity to work with the GBSG team and consultants to research and evaluate technology solutions and make recommendations relating to technology adoption
Providing support and knowledge to other IT functions about our application environments.
The skills you will bring:
Experience working with, developing, managing and extending business applications e.g. ERP systems, Finance systems etc.
Experience with different programming/scripting languages e.g. Python, PowerShell, SQL and C#
Experience with Windows servers and IIS would be an advantage
Comfortable working with an Agile (SCRUM) methodology
You have a 3rd level technical degree
You have 2-3 year experience working in a similar role.
