The Opportunity

The Business Development Representative is responsible for creating and executing sales strategies to drive lead development and opportunity generation. You will work closely with the outside Sales teams, and Marketing, Business Operations (as well as other business units) and be accountable for delivering against budgeted contribution to KPI goals, revenue and qualified opportunity creation.

You will be joining the EMEA Business Development Team – a high performing and driven team. The EMEA market is a growth market for the business, so you will have plenty of opportunities for learning and career growth.

What we can offer you: (scope of the role)

  • You will get to engage with, and nurture inbound leads generated through marketing efforts and website visits.

  • Identify top prospects, key contacts, and tailoring effective messages for each account to generate interest via phone and email.

  • Support funnel building by actively participating in marketing programs, which may involve calling prospects to generate interest in events or dinners and attending shows and events.

  • Efficiently plan daily and weekly call schedules to ensure prompt follow-up with all inbound leads.

  • Conduct timely cold calls and continuously expand knowledge of Workhuman® products, messaging, differentiation, industry trends, and competition.

  • Collaborate and working efficiently with Field Sales partners.

  • Opportunity to Develop a territory plan to effectively target potential clients.

  • Participate in quarterly Regional Sales meetings and Sales conference calls.

  • Maintain accurate customer records database within Salesforce.com to facilitate opportunity pipeline management.

  • Our team works with some of the best technologies used for business development activities in the market, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, etc. Therefore, you will be well-equipped to meet and exceed your weekly and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieve or surpass quarterly quotas for qualified field sales meetings and opportunity creation.

Skills you will bring:

  • Relevant experience in a customer facing role with knowledge of using CRM software and basic understanding of a BDR’s workflow.

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in business preferred.

  • Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

  • Experience in calling and engaging prospects at all levels of large multinational organisations

  • May be required to travel on ad-hoc basis.
