Job Description:

The Merchandise Specialist is a key role in the Supply Chain Merchandise team. You will manage external merchandise partners ensuring they are meeting their SLAs, cultivate strong relationships, optimize performance and contribute to the overall success of the supply chain. You will also collaborate closely with other internal cross functional teams

The Skills you will bring to the role:

  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external vendors and stakeholders across the supply chain, fostering collaboration and alignment towards common goals.

  • Teamwork: Contributes to the establishment of a shared vision and takes responsibility for the achievement of team goals with a strong commitment to inclusivity for all.

  • Innovation & Problem Solving: Works on complex issues and incorporates new opinions, research and ideas into group processes and applies creative thinking to develop new solutions and improvements.

  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects related to supply chain optimization, process improvements, or vendor onboarding from planning and execution to monitoring and evaluation.

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seeking feedback and opportunities for improvement in relationships with external partners, as well as advocating for process enhancements and innovations to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.

  • Strategic Thinking: Identifies and presents new information or data to key decision-makers or stakeholders to support their understanding and decisions.

  • Initiative: Works with minimal supervision on difficult work assignments, conferring with manager or more senior team members on unusual situations.

Achievements/Knowledge & Experience:

  • Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Degree

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in an operations or Global Supply Chain environment.

  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Stakeholder Management.

  • Experience with project management advantageous

  • Excellent time management skills allowing delivery on both short term and long-term goals
