Job Description:

We are looking for a Contract Manager in Dublin, to provide sound legal and business advice in relation to contract negotiation, drafting and signing. You will join our established Global legal team as an individual contributor primarily supporting the business with vendor/partner engagements across EMEA/APAC. This role will report to the VP, General Counsel in our US office.

The value you will deliver

  • Carry out contract request 'initial submission' checks and liaise with the relevant parties to ensure that all required information is gathered prior to commencing contract drafting stage;
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts across Workhuman’s business operations, including contracts with vendors, partners and suppliers, involving software, hardware and professional services;
  • Contract management including contract amendments, dispute resolution and risk management;
  • Assist in the development of internal policies, procedures, best practices in relation to contracts and agreements and compilation of precedents and know how;
  • Assist with the beginning to end process for contracts and ensure that contracts are finalized and executed in an efficient manner;
  • Manage information flow among internal stakeholders, vendors and legal counsel;
  • Keep leadership properly informed on a timely basis concerning actual and potential legal issues facing the business;
  • Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.

The skills you will bring

  • Relevant law degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Min 3-5 years contract negotiation experience
  • Previous experience at SaaS/technology-based company is desirable
  • Demonstrates a strong comprehension of legal terminology.
  • Experience negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.
  • Experience and understanding of U.S. and EU Data Protection and Data Privacy laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to understand business issues and develop solutions that meet regulatory requirements while minimizing impact to normal business processes. Ability to interact with members of senior management.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced work environment.
