Job Description:

Workhuman is seeking a Billing Analyst who will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate billing of invoices to our clients. The role is integral to maintaining Workhuman’s cash flow and supporting the company’s continued growth.

You will have the opportunity to reshape, redefine and implement Billing processes and best practices through strategic project work.

What we can offer you

  • An opportunity to ensure timely and accurate billing of daily/weekly/monthly invoices for services provided by Workhuman.
  • Opportunities to lead and coordinate complex investigations and resolutions of invoice disputes and billing-related queries from our external and internal customers
  • You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain accurate, clear, structured records of key metrics and KPIs for presentation to wider Finance team, key-stakeholders, and to present and support financial period-end close – with an opportunity to demonstrate ability to adapt and evolve into a wider range of deeper analysis
  • You will have the opportunity for active involvement in various billing projects, being a Point of contact at times to gather meaningful feedback from the billing team to share with project teams, and vice versa e.g. the regular development of our in-house billing system and evolving processes
  • Opportunity to act as a point of escalation for clients and key stakeholders and act as the voice of the wider Billing Team
  • Work closely with AR Billing Manager and opportunities to co-ordinate ad-hoc tasks amongst the team, creating and presenting billing & progress reports to management

The Skills you will bring

  • Ability to work on challenging tasks, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations
  • Ability to develop strong collaborative and productive relationships within and outside own team, whilst also being able to work independently & with autonomy, determining methods and approach on new assignments
  • High resilience levels and a positive “can-do” attitude in good times and challenging times
  • A strong level of communication skills (writing, speaking and active listening) and the ability to see “bigger picture” and be process driven with excellent attention-to-detail
  • Strong in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word and especially Excel)
  • Ability to adapt and be comfortable with change in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to lead by example through work and through values & behaviours

Achievements

  • Proven experience in AR and billing ideally in a SaaS or telecoms industry (4-7 years) and the ability to apply experience, knowledge & skills to complete a wide range of tasks
  • Proven experience with billing software and databases
  • Proven experience in billing/onboarding/collecting in international markets
  • Experience in pricing, client contracts & internal/external audits
  • Finance/Business Degree or relevant work experience
