The Opportunity

We are looking for a mid-level QA Automation Engineer to join our team in expanding and improving our Recognition & Celebrations solutions. This team is at the heart of how Workhuman helps our customers build and sustain cultures of gratitude. These teams design and deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to spread a culture of recognition and celebration within their workplaces.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve scoping, designing, building and running automated and manual tests for new features in a front-end application. You will bring a strong foundation in manual testing to ensure the highest standards of product quality. This role will provide you with the unique opportunity to not only execute critical manual tests but also to drive and shape the future of QA automation within our team.

Technical Stack: Java, JavaScript, Spring, Cypress / Playwright, Web UI, REST APIs, SQL, Junit, TestNG, Selenium, WebDriver, Linux, Jenkins, JIRA, Postman.

• Your day-to-day tasks will mainly involve scoping, designing, building, maintaining, and running automated and manual tests for new and existing features

The Skills you will bring
• 3+ years of experience testing Web UIs and APIs in an Agile environment
• Strong experience in manual testing, including designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans
• Experience with creation and maintenance of automated tests
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Junit, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Good experience on Java and Spring Boot (desirable but not essential)
• Good understanding of Linux environments and basic shell scripting
• Intermediate-level experience with SQL
• Exposure to Accessibility testing
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Achievements
• You have developed and executed automated test suites using CI tools like Jenkins
• You have been involved in projects where you diagnosed, reported, tracked, and resolved quality issues
• You have leveraged excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of complex bugs
