Job Overview:

We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent design skills to help us elevate our B2B brand and support our marketing efforts. As a member of the creative team reporting to the Creative Director, the art director role will create compelling creative for a variety of projects (including digital, campaigns, presentations, web, video, social media, and live events), working closely with various teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and direct other designers. They must be able to conceptualize ideas and carry them through execution, as well as demonstrate flexibility working in a fast-paced team environment. As an emerging people manager, the art director will oversee our contract design resources (and future graphic design hires) while also engaging in hands-on design work, day to day. This role requires exceptional organizational and project management skills in order to keep up with task execution.


  • Support the Creative Director with the development of concepts, strategies, and creative briefs/presentations
  • Create a range of concepts and designs for each project, partnering with copywriters and video production to ensure the copy direction and visual presentation work together to make the concept powerful and compelling
  • Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas
  • Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience
  • Ensures the brand tone and position is exemplified within designs
  • Ensure creative product adheres to best practices across media and platforms
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
  • Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide clear direction
  • Mentors more junior team members with the growth of their skills and understanding of creative process
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and help update guidelines when necessary
  • Build and foster relationships with marketing sub-teams and other departments

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in art direction, design, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-6 years professional design experience with solid portfolio of work
  • Hands on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and package design
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
  • Strong project management skills using tools like Asana
  • Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
  • B2B marketing experience a plus


We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. The exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above. All employee benefits include a stake in shared success through stock options, health benefits, 401(k) plan, generous PTO, and a parental leave program.
Salary Range
$102,000$135,000 USD
