Role Summary:

Copado is embracing AI and automation to the fullest extent to help it meet its ambitious goals. The finance department will play a crucial role in enabling the Company to achieve its strategic objectives. The finance organization is focused on supporting the business through continual improvement of its systems, data, and processes in order to maximize the quality of its deliverables.

This pivotal role at Copado will be responsible for enabling continued growth and delivering transformation by ensuring the success of the key strategic and technology initiatives undertaken by the finance department.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, strategic thinker, highly organized, and proficient in managing timelines, budgets, and risks. They should have Salesforce and Netsuite experience, project management expertise and possess the ability to identify and prioritize action items, resolve roadblocks, and comfortably engage cross-functionally in detailed finance and business matters.

Success will be defined by positive business outcomes stemming from completed transformational initiatives.

Initiatives:

Following is a sample set of initiatives to be undertaken in the short term.

Netsuite

  • Ensure the project is scoped, staged, and managed correctly to promote successful and timely completion.
  • Manage 3rd party System Integrators through the entire process from business requirements and system design through Integration, Data Migration, Testing and Go-Live.
  • Manage communication with the business regarding the project.
  • Run training, education, and change management efforts.

Quote to Cash

  • Define the strategy for automating the Copado quote to cash process to the fullest extent practicable.
  • Use AI and automation to triage and handle communication with customers, both proactive and reactive in response to enquiries.

Data Analytics, Metrics and Management Reporting

  • Enable the flow of data regarding financial and operational performance to the business.
  • Manage the BI function, especially as it relates to financial and performance reporting. Participate in definition and execution of unified data strategy as it relates to BI.

Functional Responsibilities:

The Initiatives listed above will be completed within the framework of the following activities:

  • Assessment and Analysis: Analyze finance processes, systems, and operations for improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify transformation needs and leverage AI and automation for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strategic Planning: Engage cross-departmentally to enhance finance support to the business. Recommend technology and process upgrades, and develop a strategic roadmap with defined short and long-term goals.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Manage technology project lifecycles from start to finish, ensuring quality and collaboration with internal and external teams for successful execution.
  • Project Management: Lead finance transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Communicate progress and collaborate with various teams for seamless project completion.
  • Change Management: Implement change management strategies for the adoption of new processes and systems. Provide global training and support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure initiatives comply with regulations and best practices. Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Drive project planning and execution by setting clear objectives, timelines, and resources. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree and CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven Project Management experience, specifically managing NetSuite and Salesforce implementation and customization projects.
  • Excellent project management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of NetSuite ERP functionalities including third-party billing and advanced revenue management.
  • Experience with data strategies and middleware and data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with cloud enterprise applications such as CRM software, ERP, Application Development, or low code software, with a keen interest in future technologies in the space.
  • NetSuite and Salesforce certifications are advantageous and familiarity with Workato, Mulesoft, or Breadwinner is a plus.

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. The exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above. All employee benefits include a stake in shared success through stock options, health benefits, 401(k) plan, generous PTO, and a parental leave program.
Salary Range (OTE)
$170$190 USD
