Summary:
The People Business Partner, India is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing the employee experience across the company's operations in India. This role will drive initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment, ensuring that employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being across India. This may include conducting surveys, organizing events, and fostering a culture of recognition and appreciation.
Talent Management: Partner with regional leaders to identify and develop talent, implement performance management processes, and facilitate career development opportunities.
Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for India employees, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and investigations.
HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with local laws and regulations in India, while aligning with the company's global HR strategy.
Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to HR programs and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
Data and Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to gain insights into employee trends and identify areas for improvement in the employee experience.
Legal and Payroll Support: Advise and connect business with appropriate partners and drive processes to ensure compliance and to optimize employee experience.
Drive India Talent Acquisition: In partnership with Recruitment Operations, lead efforts to source, recruit, and hire qualified candidates for roles within India.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations in India.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful employee engagement and talent management programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
Fluency in English and at least one other European language is preferred.
Additional Information:
This position requires occasional travel within India and rare travel internationally
