Job Description

  • Ensure all outside plan processes adhere to internal compliance standards, state/federal laws (e.g., ERISA, ACA), and PEO regulatory guidelines.
  • Track and document client selections, plan details, and supporting materials in CRM and benefits systems (e.g., Salesforce, PrismHR).

Internal Coordination

  • New Business: Partner with Sales, Implementation, Payroll, Benefit Specialists and Benefit Account Management to integrate carve out (outside) plans into the client onboarding and maintenance process.
  • Renewals: Coordinate with the BS to make sure renewals are processed in a timely manner and SF is updated via the Renewal Check list with the new sold plans, rates and sbc’s.
  • Open Enrollment: Facilitating quotes for the Sales Team and BAMS via Navwise, Benefix, or GA.
  • Prospects: Review data and provide quotes to the Sales Team via SF.
  • Assist with developing procedures focusing on process and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business: Partner with and support the BS to facilitate the completion of the required new business paperwork.
  • Review completed paperwork for completion and submit it to the GA.
  • Coordinate with GA any missing data or questions asked to ensure policies are approved timely for their effective date.
  • Provide approval to BS for check list completion in SF.
  • Renewals: Confirm audit paperwork is completed for submission to the carrier.
  • Provide guidance on addressing carrier escalated issues.
  • Maintain an active Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license.
  • Proficiency in benefits platforms and quoting tools.
  • Sales Force proficiency.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Client/Broker focused problem solving skills
  • Minimum 3 years working with medical benefits.
This role is located in Melville, NY. Must be able to go into the office 3 days a week.
Salary range between $80 - $85K based on experience.
